EAST SIDE NEIGHBORS BREAKFAST & BAKE SALE
Sunday, October 2 from 9 am to 1 pm the Swan Lake East Side Neighbors will hold a breakfast and bake sale at the Lone Pine Town Hall, East Side Drive, Pengilly. The French Toast breakfast also includes sausage, juice, and coffee. Cost is $6 a plate (eggs may be added for an addition 50 cents). Children 5 years and younger eat for free. Proceeds go toward local, civic needs.
NASHWAUK-KEEWATIN BAND PANCAKE FEED
The N-K Band will be hosting a pancake feed on Sunday, October 16 from 8 am to 1 pm at the Lone Pine Town Hall, East Side Drive, Pengilly. The cost for this filling breakfast will be $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 4 to 10 years. All proceeds go to the band program.
KEEWATIN COMMUNITY CENTER FUNDRAISER
Engraved ceramic memory tiles are being sold for the new communtity center. This is a great way to memorialize a family, business, or organization. Contact Keewatin City Hall for futher information. 218-778-6517.
AUTUMN LIBRARY HOURS
The seasons are changing and so are the hours of operation for the Nashwauk Library. Monday through Thursday, 1 to 7 pm and Fridays 1 to 5 pm. The Library is located on the lower level of the Nashwauk-Keewatin High School; Nashwauk and may be accessed from the 2nd Street (West) side of the building.

CHAMBER OF COMMERCE MEETINGS
The next scheduled Chamber meeting is Wednesday, November 16. The meetings will be held at 5:30 pm; Nashwauk City Hall. A social hour will follow.
